Our verdict
Vantage is the pick for a trader who wants offshore leverage and pricing without giving up every trace of tier-1 oversight. The RAW ECN account at USD 3 per side on a USD 50 minimum is unusually generous — most brokers gate raw pricing behind a four-figure deposit — and the platform stack is a genuine differentiator: MT4, MT5, an in-house ProTrader web terminal and full TradingView order routing, rather than MetaTrader-or-nothing. Product breadth is respectable too, with over a thousand CFDs spanning shares, ETFs, bonds, indices and commodities, which is broader than most direct rivals. Set against that: unless you are UK or Australian resident you will be onboarded to Vantage International Group under CIMA or Vantage Global Limited under the VFSC, and neither carries a compensation scheme. The default Standard STP account is not cheap at around 1.4 pips on EUR/USD, so the value case depends on moving to RAW. Skip Vantage if you want exchange-traded instruments, an FSCS-backed relationship without UK residency, or a research desk worth reading.

Pros & cons
Pros
7- RAW ECN gives 0.0 pip spreads for USD 3 per lot per side (USD 6 round turn) on a USD 50 minimum, where most brokers gate raw pricing behind far larger deposits
- Genuine tier-1 licences at the top of the group: ASIC AFSL 428901 and FCA 590299, alongside CIMA 1383491 and FSCA authorisation
- Four real platform choices — MT4, MT5, the in-house ProTrader web terminal and full TradingView order routing — rather than MetaTrader alone
- Over 1,000 CFDs covering forex, share CFDs, ETFs, bonds, indices, commodities and energy, which is broader than most offshore competitors
- No inactivity fee and free deposits across every supported method, with card and e-wallet withdrawals landing in 1–6 hours
- Copy trading in depth: an in-house multi-account system plus ZuluTrade, DupliTrade and Myfxbook AutoTrade
- Ten base currencies including AUD, CAD, NZD, HKD, SGD and PLN, which avoids a conversion round-trip for a lot of non-USD clients
Cons
6- Most international clients are onboarded to Vantage International Group (CIMA) or Vantage Global Limited (VFSC), where no investor compensation scheme applies
- The default Standard STP account averages around 1.4 pips on EUR/USD, which is unremarkable — the value case only works if you move to RAW ECN
- Pro ECN, the cheapest tier at USD 3 round turn, needs a USD 10,000 deposit
- No cash equities, ETFs as real securities, exchange-traded options or futures — every product here is a CFD
- Research is thin next to the platform investment: an economic calendar and market notes rather than a genuine analysis desk
- Italy's CONSOB has ordered blackouts of offshore Vantage-branded domains soliciting Italian residents without local authorisation, which is a useful reminder to verify which entity and domain you are dealing with

Full review: Vantage Markets
Fees and what they cost in practice
Vantage runs three main pricing tiers and the gap between the cheapest and the default is the whole story.
Standard STP is commission-free with quotes advertised from 1.0 pip. Measured, EUR/USD sits nearer 1.4 pips in normal conditions — roughly USD 14 round turn on a standard lot. That is respectable but not competitive with the best of the offshore field.
RAW ECN is where the value is: 0.0 pip spreads plus USD 3 per lot per side, USD 6 round turn, on the same USD 50 minimum. Getting raw institutional pricing at a USD 50 entry is genuinely unusual — most brokers reserve it for four-figure deposits — and at typical raw EUR/USD spreads of 0.1–0.2 pips the all-in cost lands around USD 7–8.
Pro ECN halves the commission to USD 1.50 per side, USD 3 round turn, but demands USD 10,000. For anyone trading more than a few lots a day, that upgrade pays for itself quickly.
Everything around the trade is clean: no inactivity fee, free deposits on all supported methods, and no Vantage-side withdrawal charge — intermediary bank fees on international wires still pass through. Swaps are charged per instrument, with swap-free accounts available in eligible regions.
The honest summary: open on RAW, not Standard.
Safety and regulation
Vantage has a better-shaped regulatory structure than most of its offshore peers, and the same fundamental caveat as all of them.
- Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd — ASIC AFSL 428901, Australia. Tier-1 conduct oversight, client-money segregation and the 1:30 retail leverage cap. Australia has no compensation scheme for retail derivatives clients.
- Vantage Global Prime LLP — FCA 590299, United Kingdom. Eligible UK clients get FSCS cover to GBP 85,000.
- Vantage International Group Limited — CIMA 1383491, Cayman Islands.
- Vantage Global Limited — VFSC 700271, Vanuatu.
- Vantage Markets (Pty) Ltd — FSCA, South Africa.
Which one takes you depends on residence. UK residents go to the FCA LLP, Australians to the ASIC entity, and the large majority of everyone else to Cayman or Vanuatu — where 1:500 leverage is available and no compensation scheme exists.
On the structural side: client funds are held segregated at tier-1 banks, negative balance protection applies, the group has traded since 2009, and the licensed entities file audited accounts. We found no material enforcement action against the regulated entities. Italy's CONSOB has ordered blackouts of offshore Vantage-branded domains soliciting Italian residents without local authorisation — a domain-level issue rather than a finding against the ASIC or FCA entities, but a reason to confirm exactly which entity and which domain your account agreement names.
Trading platforms
This is the strongest part of the Vantage proposition and the reason it scores above brokers with comparable pricing.
ProTrader is the in-house browser platform: integrated charting, watchlists, order management and account functions in a single window, without the split between terminal and client portal that MetaTrader forces. It is the platform Vantage clearly wants you on and it is good enough to justify that.
MetaTrader 4 and 5 are both offered in full builds. MT4 for the expert-advisor ecosystem, MT5 for wider instrument coverage, depth of market and the faster strategy tester.
TradingView integration is the standout. In serviceable regions you can link a Vantage account to TradingView and route CFD orders directly from its web and desktop interfaces — not a charting embed, but real broker integration. For anyone whose analysis already lives in TradingView, that removes an entire workflow seam.
The Vantage App covers the full instrument list, funding across roughly 55 deposit methods and copy trading on iOS and Android.
Copy trading runs deeper than most: an in-house multi-account system that can mirror across different account types and base currencies, plus ZuluTrade, DupliTrade and Myfxbook AutoTrade. What is missing is a public REST or FIX API outside MetaTrader.
Markets and products
Vantage lists over 1,000 instruments, and the shape of that list is unusually broad for an offshore-facing CFD broker.
- Forex — around 40 pairs. A shorter list than XM or Exness, covering majors, minors and the liquid exotics rather than padding the count.
- Share CFDs — several hundred names across US, UK, European and Australian listings, the largest single block of the instrument count.
- ETF CFDs — sector, regional and commodity ETFs. Rare in this bracket; most direct competitors offer none at all.
- Bond CFDs — major government issues, again unusual for the peer group.
- Indices — the standard global cash index set.
- Commodities and energy — metals, oils, gas and softs.
- Crypto CFDs — the major coins, with leverage capped far below the FX headline.
The qualifier that governs everything above: these are all CFDs. You do not own the share, the ETF or the bond, you pay overnight financing to hold them, and you get no voting or dividend rights beyond a cash adjustment. Vantage does not publish a standalone commission table for share, ETF or bond CFDs, so on Standard STP the spread is the whole cost and on RAW and Pro the account-level commission applies.
Absent entirely: cash equities, exchange-traded options, futures and mutual funds.
Account opening and funding
Account opening is among the quickest tested anywhere — the application runs to under five minutes and verification typically clears the same business day.
The USD 50 minimum applies to both Standard STP and RAW ECN, which is the detail that matters most: you do not have to choose between a low entry point and raw pricing. Pro ECN sits apart at USD 10,000. A Cent account is available in selected jurisdictions for anyone who wants to trade real money in cent-sized lots first.
Funding is deliberately broad — roughly 55 deposit methods including cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay), bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal, AstroPay, regional wallets and crypto rails. All deposits are free.
Ten base currencies are supported: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, NZD, JPY, HKD, SGD and PLN. That range is worth real money to a non-USD client — funding an AUD or SGD account from a local bank avoids a conversion round-trip that most competitors force on you.
Withdrawals land in 1–6 hours on cards and e-wallets, same or next business day on bank transfer, with requests placed before the Sydney morning cut-off processed the same day. Vantage adds no fee of its own; intermediary banks on international wires still take theirs.
Research and education
Research is the weakest column on the scorecard and the clearest place Vantage has under-invested relative to its platform work.
What exists: an economic calendar, regular market analysis notes, video commentary and platform-level technical tooling through the MetaTrader and TradingView integrations. TradingView in particular does a lot of the heavy lifting here — its screener, indicator library and community scripts are better than anything a mid-size broker would build in-house, so a Vantage client with a TradingView subscription is well served by accident rather than by design.
What is missing: a named analysis desk, proprietary equity or macro coverage, and any output with a distinctive view. This is broker content produced to fill a content calendar.
Education is comparable — platform explainers, a glossary, introductory videos on CFD mechanics and leverage, and an unrestricted demo account that mirrors live pricing. It is enough to get an intermediate trader onto the platform and nowhere near what XM staffs. If you need to be taught, that gap matters. If you arrive with a method and want a venue to execute it, it does not.
Customer support
Support is a strong point and reflects a client base spread across Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America.
Live chat runs 24/7 with phone cover across the trading week. In contact testing, chat responses arrive within about a minute, which is at the fast end of the sector, and agents handle account and payment questions directly rather than routing everything to a ticket queue.
Language coverage spans roughly a dozen languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, German, French, Korean and Malay — narrower than the thirty-plus XM staffs, but weighted towards the markets Vantage actually serves and staffed properly in each.
The external signal is good. Vantage carries a 4.5 TrustScore on Trustpilot across more than 11,400 reviews as of the end of 2025, a review volume large enough that the average is hard to game. Withdrawal speed and support responsiveness are the recurring positive themes; the recurring negatives are the ones the whole sector shares — spread widening around news and the occasional protracted verification.
As always with leveraged products, read the negative reviews on their own terms rather than trusting the headline number.
Frequently asked questions
It depends on where you live. UK residents are onboarded to Vantage Global Prime LLP under FCA licence 590299, which brings FSCS cover of up to GBP 85,000. Australian residents go to Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd under ASIC AFSL 428901, which has tier-1 conduct oversight but no compensation scheme. Most other international clients are booked to Vantage International Group Limited (CIMA 1383491) or Vantage Global Limited (VFSC 700271), where 1:500 leverage is available and no compensation scheme applies. Check the entity named on your client agreement before funding.
RAW ECN, for almost everyone. Standard STP is commission-free but averages around 1.4 pips on EUR/USD, roughly USD 14 round turn per standard lot. RAW ECN quotes from 0.0 pips and charges USD 3 per lot per side, so with typical raw spreads of 0.1–0.2 pips the all-in cost lands nearer USD 7–8. Both accounts open at USD 50, so there is no deposit penalty for choosing RAW. Pro ECN halves the commission again to USD 1.50 per side but needs USD 10,000.
No inactivity fee, and no Vantage-side withdrawal fee. Deposits are free across all supported methods. The one cost to watch is intermediary bank charges on international wire withdrawals, which are levied by the correspondent banks rather than by Vantage and are passed through to you. Card and e-wallet withdrawals typically complete in 1–6 hours; bank transfers are same or next business day when requested before the Sydney morning cut-off.
No — everything Vantage offers is a CFD. The share and ETF products track the underlying price but you never own the asset, you pay overnight financing to hold a position, and you receive a cash adjustment rather than a real dividend with voting rights. That said, having ETF and bond CFDs at all is unusual in this bracket; most direct competitors offer neither. If you want to own securities outright you need a stockbroker, not a CFD provider.
Yes, and it is one of the better integrations in the sector. In serviceable regions you can link a Vantage account to TradingView and place CFD orders directly from TradingView's web and desktop interfaces — real broker integration rather than a charting embed. Vantage also offers MT4, MT5 and its own ProTrader web platform, plus copy trading through an in-house multi-account system and the ZuluTrade, DupliTrade and Myfxbook AutoTrade networks.
We do not describe any leveraged CFD broker as safe. What we can report: Vantage has operated since 2009, holds tier-1 licences with ASIC and the FCA plus CIMA and FSCA authorisations, segregates client funds at tier-1 banks, applies negative balance protection so a retail account cannot go below zero, and files audited accounts through its licensed entities. Public sentiment is solid at 4.5 on Trustpilot across 11,400-plus reviews. Against that, most international clients sit with an offshore entity that has no compensation scheme, and CFDs themselves carry a high risk of rapid loss regardless of the broker.
